Quality & Traceability

Quality You Can Understand

We believe quality should be supported by clear product information, documented handling and traceable records. Every batch of shrimp we supply in France is backed by strict European food-safety standards, verified origins, and controlled cold-chain monitoring.

What Quality Means at MM Premium Seafood

We replace vague claims with verifiable operational benchmarks. From coastal landing in Bangladesh to delivery in France, each step is documented.

3. EU Border Inspections

Every sea consignment is accompanied by official Veterinary Certificates and inspected at an approved European Border Control Post.

4. Stocked in France

Maintained in temperature-monitored French cold-storage warehouses. Dispatched nationwide in thermal parcels via Chronofresh.

Natural Estuaries & Traditional Aquaculture

Bangladesh possesses one of the world’s most intricate river deltas, where the fresh waters of the Ganges-Brahmaputra basin merge with the mineral-rich tides of the Bay of Bengal. This unique aquatic interface provides ideal salinities and natural nutrients for tropical crustacean species.

Black Tiger Shrimp (Penaeus monodon):

Raised in extensive coastal mangrove enclosures (ghers) in the Khulna district. Low stocking densities and tidal water exchange preserve natural crustacean diet and yield a distinctive firm, crunchy texture.

Giant Freshwater Prawns (Macrobrachium rosenbergii):

Harvested from inland freshwater ponds and interconnected waterways in southwest Bangladesh. They develop large head cavities containing flavorful coral juices and succulent sweet meat.

Zero False Claims:

We do not market our products with exaggerated marketing labels. We explain precisely how they are harvested, frozen, and controlled under European residue surveillance programs.

Rapid Freezing at -18°C at Origin

Why flash-frozen seafood is chemically and culinarily superior to thawed or “refreshed” seafood flown long distances.

Micro-Crystalline IQF

Individually Quick Frozen (IQF) freezes each shrimp individually in minutes at temperatures down to -35°C before stabilization at -18°C. This ultra-fast process forms tiny ice crystals that do not rupture the cell membranes.

Clean Label & Natural Taste

Because freezing halts all bacterial growth and enzymatic breakdown instantly, no preservative baths or artificial glazing agents are required. The flavor profile remains sweet and ocean-crisp.

Controlled 10% Water Glaze

A calibrated layer of pure potable water protects the delicate carapace from freezer dehydration during long sea transit. This glaze vaporizes upon quick thawing, leaving muscle tissue intact.
